The Dance for Joy Giving Program powers our mission to transform lives through the physical, mental, social and emotional benefits of partner dance. The generosity of our friends, partners and donors is pivotal to all that we are able to do now and in the future to Change Lives, One Dance At A Time!
Our existence depends on the generosity of an active donor community to achieve our Vision: Through partner dance programs, we provide youth, seniors, veterans and communities from all walks of life the opportunity to feel joy, respect and connection through the movement and teamwork of partner dance.
Through the joyful art and practice of partner dance, Dance for Joy SWFL and our pilot program Dancing Classrooms, cultivates our values of respect, connection, movement, teamwork and joy.

The Dancing Classrooms program was launched in 1994 by world-renowned ballroom dancer Pierre Dulaine as a not-for-profit project of the American Ballroom Theater Company (ABrT). What began over 25 years ago as an arts-in-education program teaching ballroom dance to 5th graders in NYC has grown to be a world-renowned organization that brings the joy of social dance to elementary, middle and high school students in- and out-of-school.
